The brass Time Checks featured on these clips are from the the days of our first tannery at 1055 W. Division St. in Chicago. In 1920 we moved about a mile north to our current location on Elston and changed our name from I. Horween and Co. to Horween Leather Co. These checks were given to employees to hang on the time board to track hours worked, before the days of punch cards. Genuine Good Art solid brass split-ring included with the clip.
These carabiner-style clips attach easily and securely and can be used as keychains or as an anchor point for a wallet chain. This run is limited to the pieces shown (2).
