The exterior of this wallet is a rich burgundy calfskin that is soft in the hand and features subtle grain. The leather used in this wallet’s interior is 100% vegetable tanned American calfskin, tanned at Horween Leather Company in 1949. There are a very limited number of these hides that have remained in stock for 75 years, from a time when the Union Stock Yards still operated in Chicago proper.
Please note that due to the age and nature of this leather, there may be areas of slight variation. This product will darken and improve with age and use.
